Strategic Account Manager (Sales)
We deliver complete solutions for the database business continuity needs without costly hardware or software upgrades. Using our products, an enterprise will optimize its database related operations costs, equipment capacity and system reliability/up time while focusing on its core business.

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible to selling our entire database consulting product line to National & Named Accounts in the US and internationally. Individuals in this role should possess great depth in Enterprise Software and Best of Breed sales experience with Fortune 500 enterprises as well as able to comfortably discuss business and technology issues with C-Level, IT and business managers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Prospecting, finding, developing and closing opportunities through the entire Sales Cycle
·Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers        
·Creating and implementing account strategy
·Recognizing customer business problems and driving / influencing resources to address opportunities
·Obtaining customer commitment and delivering a total enterprise solution
·Maintaining current revenue and focusing on identifying new opportunities to increase market share and revenue growth
·Coordinating and communicating with various internal resources in Pre-sales, contracts and Post-Sales
·Working with Channel Partners to increase opportunity size and expedite closure

Minimum Requirements:

·10+ years successful experience selling enterprise software
·5+ years of National Accounts experience
·Ability to build and manage executive level relationships with key sponsors and influencers
·Experience developing, executing and managing enterprise account plans
·Meet and exceed quarterly/annual revenue goals in assigned Fortune 500 accounts
·Relentless personality and strong drive for success
·Demonstrate successful sales record by consistently achieving or exceeding assigned sales quota
·Knowledge of solution and value-based selling techniques
·Accurate forecasting skills
·Must be a self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed

·Prefer knowledge of SalesForce.com, Excel and Siebel Sales
·BS/BA Required
