Job Description:

Available position for experienced Java Enterprise Application Testers. Applications from entry level to one year of experience will be considered, six months experience in Quality Assurance position preferred. Responsible for tracking and detecting application defects. Provide feedback regarding the functionality of site design.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform regression testing, verifying claimed bug fixes

• Fully optimize software engineering tools for test cases

• Optimize performance on UNIX, Windows and Java VMs OS

• Prepare written reports of game defects to give feedback and to offer suggestions for resolution

• Enter data into database tracking system

Requirements/Qualifications:

•Experienced in QA methodologies: process, test planning, test case development, testing techniques

•Object-oriented design, algorithm analysis/implementation, debugging skills

•Experience in automation tools and techniques (commercial and open source tools)

•White box experience testing C++ and Java applications

•Software engineering tools development experience

•QA test lab (computer specification and configuration, networking, maintenance)

•Proficient in Word, Excel, and Data Entry

•Bachelor of Science in a computer/technology related curriculum

Hours: Full-Time

Length: Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: Starting @ $18/hr
