We are seeking a dynamic Customer Service Administrator to become part of our growing team! This position requires someone with a strong, professional presence in person and over the phone. Due to the nature of this position, the candidate we are seeking must be able to manage interruptions and schedule changes while performing multiple tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* First point of contact for agents, suppliers and customers.
* Track and communicate account status with agents, suppliers and customers.
* Communicate via phone, email and fax.
* Enter, arrange & process transportation orders with customers and carriers & airlines.
* Invoice generation and processing.
* Support Operations Manager and other departments as needed.
* Support front desk and distribute/manage office mail on an as-needed basis.
* Maintain logistics files.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Logistics or related discipline preferred, or 2-3 years of experience in the customer service role in Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain Management field.
* Previous experience in transportation, trucking or supply management industry highly desirable, but not required.
* Advanced Excel & Word skills.
* Typing speed 35 wpm.
* Must be able to multi-task.
* Strong self-initiative.
* Reliability and punctuality are a must!
